Franke SL103BX sink
This is a very nice sink, except for the rust spots that occasionally appear. We clean them off, but the only way to stop them is to dry the sink after each use, which is a ridiculous thing to have to do with a sink. Apparently, the stainless steel used on our sink was inferior.
The sink comes with 8 mounting clips that attach to notches under the sink to pull it down tightly to the counter-top. I set it in the cut-out on a maple counter top and the sink wouldn't lay flat. So, before starting installation, I asked Franke for an additional 8 clips, which they sent at no charge. All 16 clips were necessary to snug it down to the top, so it's a good thing they were available.
Since our sink is an unheated garden room, minor rust spots aren't a big deal. However, if this sink was IN the house, rusting would be unacceptable. For someone that hired a plumber to install the sink, it would cost hundreds of dollars in labor to replace it, and you'd still have to find a sink that would fit in this sink's counter cut-out.
If you want this sink but are worried about the rust, here's a suggestion. Buy it from Amazon or locally and take it out of the box; but save the box and receipt. Lay wet bath towels over the sink areas that will be exposed and let them sit for a couple of days. Re-wet them as they dry out. After several days, remove the towels. If there are no rust spots, you're good to go. If there is rust, return it. Do this test within the allowed return period; typically 30 days. Good luck!

We were upgrading our laundry room and wanted to replace a big old free-standing utility sink with a sink in a cabinet base. This sink was perfect - it is wide enough so that a bucket easily fits. I was worried it wouldn't be deep enough since they call it a bar sink but it is fine and deeper than I thought. The stainless looks great and we are very happy with the quality. It was a very good value and delivery came right on time - no problems at all.

I looked long and hard trying to find the right size sink for a laundry room. This one is exactly the right size and this seller has it at an excellent price.
