I have an older home that has the plumbing going through the wall instead of coming up from under the sink. My 2 options: hire a plumber to run the pipes to come out under the sink or look for a wall mounted kitchen faucet. Since I am on a budget and the existing pipes are still fine, I chose option B and couldn't be happier. It looks much better than pictured. It was very easy to install; I'm a girl, had never installed a water faucet in my life but with the instructions it took me about 45 mins to remove the old one and install this one. Oh so much better looking than the old ugly one that I had! The "gooseneck" is high enough that I do not struggle washing my pots and pans anymore... too excited!!! It was also one of the cheaper options that I saw... my second choice was $250. Definitely worth it!

Our old faucet was ancient, and no matter what components we replaced, it wouldn't stop dripping. The handles were miserably tight, and it was more than just a chore to do dishes. Compared to that, this is a dream! It is exactly the right height, the handles are very easy to turn (as one reviewer said, you can "flick" them on and off with ease), and it brightened the whole facade of our sink.
I had wanted to replace the whole fixture, which is a white, very old cast-iron double-sink. After installing this, I'm so glad that we didn't "upgrade." It allowed us to maintain our kitchen's country-like charm, and what's best, it fit well below our budget! The fiance had it installed before I knew he had shut the water off, and I have wondered since then what took me so long to order it!

This faucet is a great wall-mount option for those looking for value and quality. You could obviously spend more on higher-end faucets, but this is vastly more affordable and worth the investment. The faucet is chromed metal, not cheap plastic. It also has stem cartridges and washerless handles that add to the faucet's longevity. The smooth action of the levers and neck is a nice feature. I highly recommend this faucet.
