The faucet in the "slop sink" in my laundry room was leaking. I wanted it replaced. My plumber told me this type of faucet wasn't produced anymore. Being the "internet junkie" that I am, I proved him wrong! LOL!

I have the same experience what the previous reviewer have said. I have for 22 years exactly the same style type of utility faucet, with the water tubes coming from the top down. I can't find this type from the big box stores. What it replaced was made of all heavry brass, the base, spout. I installed this myself. I have to cut the copper tubing from my old set and it needed a compression fitting to put it back together. The only concern I have is the spout, it is made of light material, I am not sure to guess but it look like a polish copper tubing not the same as heavy brass body. I like the hose threaded end for garder hose. On the other end of the spout is a metal O-ring to lock it from going farther down the tube, followed by an O-ring gasket, prevent leaks, then a metal cap cover to keep the spout in placed. The Spout swivel left and right but it have a little up and down movement, not seen on most new faucets. This spout did not gave me a lot of confidence for durability. If your set-up is the same as mine, this is the only one available I saw. The brass base (body) will sure to last a life time, when it leaks next time, the gasket is easy to replace.
Update: I look closer what the spout material is made of, I might say it's made out of polish brass. Absolutely, it have my recommendation.
